One of the lead stories on The Drudge Report today focused on the next wave of foreclosures coming.  The link to the story is below.  As many in the industry are aware, the depleted REO inventory is due to the extensive legal issues the banks are facing.  Some of these legal issues have been resolved but the banks still face many legal challenges before the housing industry returns to normal.

Thanks for taking a moment to check out our newest feature, this blog.  We want to make the site more interactive so this along with our chat feature will be more in use.  In addition, I will begin to regularly update and maintain our “upcoming REO properties” section located on the main page.  As many of you know, properties are assigned to us weeks to months in advance of ever hitting the market while they go through the pre-marketing phase.  By regularly visiting our site, you can have first hand knowledge of these properties so you can submit an offer as soon as they go on market thus getting ahead of your competition.  I will also use the blog to give out tips on a number of topics including : how to best submit an offer on an REO property, how to bid on HUD homes, bank procedures, guidelines and habits when reviewing offers and also comment on market conditions as they develop.  I will also put out bulletins on properties when the bank is looking to move a property quickly and aggressively as well as specialized knowledge we may have on certain properties that we learn about while marketing the property.

We are planning some other things that will increase our presence in the Tampa Bay market so be on the lookout for the TampaBayREO brand!
